What to Wear to a Job Interview for Men

If you want to impress your future employer instantly, we suggest to start with wearing business professional clothing. Here is a quick reminder of what the business professional dress code is and  several examples of business attire for a job interview:

  • Plain dark or pinstripe suit accompanied by a white, ivory, beige, soft blue or champagne shirt, a coordinated tie, dark socks and shoes (at least as dark as the suit).

  • Body piercing should be removed if possible, tattoos should be covered.

    Thanks for the great tips! I recall reading somewhere that for an interview, especially, I should remember to button my suit when standing up and open when sitting, do you agree?

    Hello Douglas!
    You are absolutely right, that’s the proper way to handle the buttons.
    A jacket should always remain buttoned until a person sits, when it is necessary to unfasten the jacket. When the person stands again, the suit should be refastened.
